Being a props buyer in the set decoration team was intense and exciting through all 8 episodes. I was responsible for script breakdowns, budget handling, prop research into specific period items used in the early 1960s, sourcing, buying and hiring props and set pieces throughout. A small range of my tasks included food prep for large banquet scenes, continuously dressing fresh flowers and plants into the standing sets as well as being familiar with London prop stores and sourcing action props.
